Spider on a dew-covered web coloring page
An orb-weaver spider, its back marked with fine ridges and geometric patterns, waits patiently at the centre of a dew-beaded web, each drop of dew drawn as a small circle, the whole scene framed by two leafy branches running along the sides of the composition. The mesh of very fine threads covers the entire page, from centre to corners, which calls for sharp pencils or extra-fine markers to keep colours from bleeding from one thread into the next. This is a demanding sheet, aimed more at fans of highly detailed naturalist drawing than at kids in a hurry, and it can easily take several long sittings to finish it properly.
