Capybara by the water with dragonflies coloring page
Sitting at the edge of a calm pond, on a little island of ground surrounded by tall grasses, this curious-looking capybara watches two transparent-winged dragonflies flying just above it. A horizon line drawn across the image clearly separates the open sky from the calm water's surface, a simple but effective way to set the scene. The dragonflies' wings, left almost empty inside with just a few fine veins, can be given a light, see-through touch of coloured pencil, while the rest of the capybara's body and the grasses around it are coloured more conventionally in flat shades. A soft gradient on the water, from near white close to the shore to a deeper blue further out, adds a pleasant sense of distance to the whole scene.
